Sensational Chocolate
A celebrity collaboration by Paul A Young
Master Chocolatier Paul A Young has assembled a glittering array of friends and colleagues who have contributed to this collection of glorious recipes to raise funds for the Children’s Air Ambulance Service. Over 60 of these culinary gems cover the entire gamut from baking cakes and biscuits to puddings, ice creams, desserts, drinks and savoury chocolate. Under Paul’s professional hand these are transformed into mouthwatering recipes for the home cook. Contributors include Marco Pierre White, Emma Thompson, Ollie Dabbous, Glenn Cosby, Giorgio Locatelli, Natasha Corrett and many more.
Paul has three shops in central London, Soho, Bank and Islington (with more in the pipeline) and his first book, Adventures with Chocolate, won its category in the 2014 Gourmand Cookbook awards, and was shortlisted for the 2014 Andre Simon award. He is a regular on our television screens, with appearances on This Morning, Sunday Brunch, The Apprentice, Junior Masterchef and Paul Hollywood’s Pies & Puds. His events are constantly sold out, whether it be for his famous brownies, truffle rolling or sea salted caramel making classes.
The Children’s Air Ambulance service, for which Paul is an Ambassador, is an air ambulance charity that transfers critically ill children from local hospitals to specialist paediatric centres. It also moves specialist teams to local hospitals when a child is too sick to travel. It flew its first child in 2013 and critically ill children need this service every week. The charity receives no government funding and relies completely on private donations.
